End Hunger UK is the title of a two-year campaign launched on Sunday 16 October 2016 – World Food Day.
The End Hunger UK campaign is part of the work being done by the newly formed UK Food Poverty Alliance. The Alliance comprises all the major third sector organisations working to alleviate food poverty and hunger in the UK.
At the end of 2017 End Hunger UK launched its policy document A Menu to End Hunger which has nine recommendations for governments across the UK, on how to address this crisis. One of these recommendations is for the government to take the bold and vital step of regularly measuring ‘household food insecurity’, or hidden hunger.
